Pattern Rating System

Pattern Difficulty Rating

In order to make it clearer for the seamstress how easy or difficult a particular pattern is, I rate each pattern using the following letters.

B indicates a relatively simple pattern perfect for a beginner.

B+ is suitable for someone who has had experience and knows basic sewing and is in between beginner and intermediate in skill level.

I means Intermediate, meaning a pattern that is more complecated and good for a sewer that is past baisc sewing and knows how to make changes to a pattern, etc.

A indicates an Advanced pattern good for a sewer who has had lots of sewing experience and knows how to solve problems and work with minimal instructions.

Of course this doesn't mean if your a beginner or advanced that you have to stick to your specifc category! I encourage you to try new patterns and maybe find a new skill or two in the process. Happy sewing!
